Though no further details of the arrest have been released, five members of Durk’s Only the Family hip-hop group were indicted in Los Angeles on Thursday in connection to an alleged murder-for-hire plot targeting rapper Quando Rondo over his suspected involvement in the 2020 killing of King Von.
According to the indictment (via Chicago’s WGN News), Kavon London Grant, Deandre Dontrell Wilson, Keith Jones, David Brian Lindsey, and Asa Houston were charged with conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire and committing murder-for-hire resulting in death.
The indictment is tied to the fatal 2022 shooting of Quando Rondo’s cousin, who was in a vehicle with the rapper and his sister that was allegedly targeted by Grant, Jones, Lindsey, and an unidentified co-conspirator.
King Von, a member of OTF, was shot and killed outside an Atlanta nightclub in November 2020 following an altercation between his crew and that of Quando Rondo, an affiliate of Von’s rival YoungBoy Never Broke Again.
Earlier this month, Durk was sued for the 2020 murder of a separate rival, FBG Duck.
