Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez, also known as Akumefule Chukwu-Emeka George, has released a new studio album titled “Young Preacher.”
Signed to Chocolate City Music, Africa’s premier music and entertainment company, Blaqbonez is renowned for his versatile, energetic, and competitive rap style, as well as his multiple personas.
“Young Preacher” represents his “gospel,” a raw and unfiltered truth, which is vividly portrayed in the album. It begins with a self-praising introduction of the “Young Preacher” and unfolds into 13 intricately woven stories, all resonating with the ‘Sex Over Love’ theme, and incorporating elements of core rap, reggaetón, and trap.
The 14-track album features collaborations with artists such as Amaarae, Lojay, Cheque, Tay Iwar, Tekno, Bien, and Takura.
