Simi – Simisola Album
“Simisola” is the self-titled second studio album by Nigerian singer Simi, released on September 8, 2017, through X3M Music. This album follows her debut release, “Ogaju.”
The album “Simisola” garnered positive feedback from music critics who commended Simi’s creative and versatile sound exploration. It features five singles: “Tiff,” “Jamb Question,” “Love Don’t Care,” “Smile for Me,” and “Joromi,” with production credits to Sess, Seyi Keyz, Oscar, and Vtek.
Following its release, “Simisola” entered the Billboard World Albums chart at number five for the week of September 30, 2017. It clinched the Album of the Year award and received a nomination for Best R&B/Pop Album at The Headies 2018. Additionally, it earned a nomination for Album of the Year at the 2018 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
